[20 Dec. 2020] Webinar Greetings Sharing #11: Red and White Catalyst for Indonesia

Hello, all!

This time, Salam Berbagi will discuss the “Red and White Catalyst for Indonesia” together with great sources.

But what is the Red and White Catalyst?

The catalyst itself is an important element for the chemical industry to accelerate the reaction of processed raw materials for time, energy, material efficiency and is environmentally friendly. Unfortunately, Indonesia is almost 100 percent dependent on imported catalysts.

To solve this problem, Prof. Subagjo, a catalyst expert from Chemical Engineering, Bandung Institute of Technology conducted in-depth research to finally find the first catalyst made in Indonesia, namely Katalis Merah Putih. Later, together with various other institutions such as Pertamina, Pupuk Indonesia and BPDPKS this catalyst will be perfected to be beneficial for the bioenergy and biodiesel industry. So, in addition to increasing the effectiveness of production, the Red and White Catalyst also plays a role in supporting the nation’s sovereignty in the development of the chemical and energy industries.
