Purwakarta, 29 November 2025 — Located in the Jatiluhur area, the Cooperation Agreement between the Association of Civil Engineering Alumni of ITB (ALSI ITB) and the Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) was officially signed to support the implementation of the ITB Jatiluhur International Triathlon and the ALSI ITB 3 on 3 Basketball Festival. This signing underscores the commitment of both parties to deliver an international-scale sporting event while strengthening synergy between alumni and the institution.

The event was attended by the Chair of ALSI ITB, Abdul Malik Sadat Idris, the Triathlon Committee Chair Herry Rachmadyanto, and Race Director Beny Yusron. From ITB, attendees included the Vice Rector for Communication, Partnership, Alumni Relations, and Administration Andryanto Rikrik Kusmara, the Director of Alumni Relations and Career Development Sophi Damayanti, and the Head of the Sub-Directorate of Cooperation and Career Development Ardiyan Harimawan.

This signing marks a strategic step to ensure that the events are organized professionally, vibrantly, and sustainably. In practical terms, the collaboration is expected to boost sport tourism in the Jatiluhur area, create economic opportunities for local communities, expand cross-generation alumni collaboration networks, and strengthen ITB’s visibility at both national and international levels.

Additionally, the initiative is also aimed at supporting institutional strengthening through sustainable fundraising, ensuring that alumni participation not only delivers short-term benefits but also contributes to the long-term sustainability of ITB’s strategic programs.
