In a strong show of commitment to advancing higher education and ensuring sustainable institutional funding, the Rector of Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) and members of the university’s leadership team took part in the Jogja Marathon 2025, held in Yogyakarta on Sunday (6/22).

More than just a sporting event, their participation is part of a larger campaign to raise awareness and support for Dana Lestari ITB — the university’s endowment fund dedicated to long-term educational development.

Among the ITB leadership who joined the marathon were:

• Vice Rector for Finance, Planning, and Development (WRURK)
• Director of Finance
• Director of Alumni Relations and Career Development
• Dean of the Faculty of Earth Sciences and Technology (FITB)
• Dean of the Faculty of Mining and Petroleum Engineering (FTTM)
• D.Sc.(Tech.) Imam Santoso, S.T., M.Phil., known as “The Dream Maker”

Their involvement in the event highlights ITB’s strong message: collaboration among academics, alumni, and the wider community is essential for building a sustainable future for higher education in Indonesia.

Dana Lestari ITB, also known as the ITB Endowment Fund, is a long-term funding mechanism professionally managed and invested across a range of financial instruments. The principal amount is preserved, and only the investment returns are used to fund various strategic initiatives.
