The Rector of Universitas Pattimura (Unpatti), Ambon, paid a visit to the ITB Alumni Co-Creation Space (Ruang Kreasi Bersama Alumni/RuKA) and had the opportunity to experience various facilities available in the collaborative space. During the visit, the Rector of Unpatti was accompanied by the Rector of ITB, the Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, the Director of Education, the Director of Partnerships, and the Director of Alumni Affairs and Career Development of ITB.
Universitas Pattimura (Unpatti) is a public university that plays a strategic role in the development of higher education, research, and community service in Eastern Indonesia, particularly in Maluku Province. Unpatti continues to promote innovation, collaboration, and the development of an entrepreneurship ecosystem based on local potential and regional strengths.
The visit aimed to introduce ITB’s alumni collaboration ecosystem through RuKA as a space for innovation, idea incubation, and cross-disciplinary networking. Through this visit, Unpatti and ITB also explored potential collaboration opportunities in the development of creative spaces, alumni empowerment, and capacity building for students and academic communities at both institutions.
In a relaxed yet productive atmosphere, the Rectors of Unpatti and ITB also took part in a friendly game of billiards, one of the recreational facilities available at RuKA. This activity reflected the spirit of togetherness and the collaborative approach promoted by RuKA as an informal interaction space that encourages creative ideas and inter-institutional dialogue.
During the visit, the Rector of Unpatti engaged in discussions with the RuKA management team and reviewed various facilities supporting creative activities, discussions, and innovation development. This visit is expected to serve as an initial step in strengthening inter-university synergy to foster sustainable innovation and meaningful contributions to national development.
