ITB Supports Human Development Synergy at Kadin’s National Coordination Meeting

The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) held the National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas) on Human Development, Culture, and Sustainable Development, as a form of collaboration between industry, government, and academia to strengthen the nation’s development agenda.

The event was attended by several prominent national figures. The keynote speech was delivered by Mr. Pratikno, Minister for Human Development and Cultural Affairs, who emphasized the importance of cross-sector collaboration to accelerate improvements in the quality of human resources in Indonesia.

This year’s Rakornas also marked the launch of a white paper, a collaborative initiative between the Ministry of Health and Kadin Indonesia, officially presented to Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin, an alumnus of ITB’s Physics Department, Class of 1983. The program is expected to serve as a joint reference for strengthening national health development policies.

In addition, Prof. Arif Satria, newly appointed Head of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), delivered a keynote speech highlighting the vital role of research and innovation in advancing sustainable development in Indonesia.

Representing the academic sector, the Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) participated through the Directorate of Alumni Relations and Career Development (Ditlumnier), underscoring the university’s commitment to bridging education, industry, and government collaboration.

The Rakornas reaffirmed the spirit of collaboration among the nation’s three key pillars — government, business, and academia — in building an Indonesia that is advanced, cultured, and sustainable.
