A group of alumni from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), united through the outdoor community Timik-Timik, successfully completed a hike to Mount Kerinci from August 4 to 6, 2025.

The expedition aimed to strengthen bonds among members, foster teamwork, and reignite their shared passion for adventure and nature. It also served as a space for self-reflection, building physical and mental resilience, and encouraging cross-generational collaboration in a friendly and open environment.

The hike went smoothly, with all participants safely reaching the summit of Mount Kerinci at 3,805 meters above sea level and returning without incident.

The Timik-Timik community hopes to continue organizing similar activities regularly as part of an active lifestyle and a commitment to environmental awareness.
