One of the most delightful highlights of this year’s ITB Dies Natalis celebration was the fashion show, featuring ITB faculty members and staff as the models. It was a refreshing sight to see individuals who usually work behind desks and in labs confidently walk the runway, transformed into professional-level models after training with Star Academy, led by Ms. Citra.

Dr. Alfita Puspa Handayani, Head of the Sub-directorate of Alumni Networking and Activities at the Directorate of Alumni and Career Development (Ditlumnier), also took part in the show. Known for her expertise as a geodetic engineer and Ph.D., Dr. Alfita stunned the audience with her elegant and confident performance, wearing a piece designed by the renowned Indonesian designer, John Martono. Her presence on the runway revealed a different, more expressive side of ITB’s academic community—one that is rarely seen by the public.

The designs of John Martono were beautifully presented by all the participants, showcasing not only artistic fashion but also grace and individuality. More than just a runway event, the show became a symbol of creativity, collaboration, and unity within ITB’s academic family.

At the end of the event, the Rector of ITB personally congratulated and expressed his appreciation to all the participants for bringing a unique and inspiring touch to this year’s Dies Natalis celebration.
