On Saturday, October 25, 2025, the Startup Alumni ITB Series 2025 – Series 1 was successfully held at the Science & Techno Park (STP) ITB.

With the theme “ITB Alumni as Founders and Investors Supporting Indonesia’s Future,” the event served as a platform for collaboration among alumni, students, and startup practitioners to strengthen innovation and entrepreneurship networks.

The event opened with a report by Ardiyan Harimawan (Head of Cooperation and Career Development Subdirectorate, DITLUMNIER ITB, Chemical Engineering 1998), followed by remarks from R. Sugeng Joko Sarwono (Director of DKST ITB, Engineering Physics 1987) and Sophi Damayanti (Director of DITLUMNIER ITB, Pharmacy 1993).

Four inspiring alumni shared their experiences and insights:
Hendra Kwik (Chemical Engineering 2008) – Co-founder & CEO, Fazz.com & Number.vc
Ben Wirawan (Industrial Product Design 1994) – Co-founder & CEO, Torch.id
Achmad Zaky (Informatics Engineering 2004) – Founder & Managing Partner, Init-6 Ventures
Dodon Yamin (Urban and Regional Planning 2008) – Founder, Banyu

The discussions were moderated by two ITB academics:
Kevin Marojahan B.N. (Electrical Power Engineering 2009) – Researcher, ITB Renewable Energy
Ayu Purwarianti (Informatics Engineering 1994) – Associate Professor at ITB; Co-founder, Prosa.ai

Through two main sessions — Founders’ Journey and Technology & Future Trends — participants gained deep insights into the challenges, opportunities, and future of innovation in Indonesia.

This event strengthened alumni networking and mentoring, reinforced ITB’s startup ecosystem, and highlighted ITB’s real contribution to building Indonesia’s digital economy. 🇮🇩
