ITB Inaugurates RuKA, a New Collaborative Space for Alumni and Academic Community

The Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) officially inaugurated the Ruang Kreasi Bersama-Alumni (RuKA) on Friday afternoon, August 29, 2025, located at Jalan Ganesha No. 15, Bandung. Starting at 2:00 PM (WIB), the event embraced a relaxed and outdoor concept, attended by ITB leadership, key contributors, and invited guests.

The atmosphere was warm and festive—perfectly reflecting the collaborative spirit that RuKA stands for. Designed as an open space for both alumni and the ITB academic community, RuKA aims to spark creativity, foster collaboration, and support meaningful connections.

The program began with an opening and video introduction to RuKA, followed by a report from the Director of Alumni Relations and Career Development. ITB’s Rector delivered a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of synergy between alumni and the university in building impactful spaces like RuKA.

The highlight of the event was a symbolic inauguration through the signing of a commemorative plaque, the unveiling of the RuKA sculpture, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony. This was followed by a contributor appreciation session and a group photo.

The celebration closed with a casual networking session and live music, bringing a warm and joyful close to the afternoon.

ITB sincerely thanks all those who contributed to the realization of RuKA. May this space continue to grow as a hub of collaboration, creativity, and shared spirit for years to come.
