Team Gen 4—featuring ITB Rector Prof. Tatacipta Dirgantara alongside alumni Made Sukrajaya (TA ’93 – Captain), Dadang Basuki (TL ’93), Agustino (TA ’92), Ariesandi Lazuardi (AR ’92), and Omar Pasaribu (SI ’98), and managed by Prof. Sophi Damayanti (FA ’93)—secured 3rd place in the 1970–1979 Birth Year Category at the lively ALSI Basketball Tournament held at ITB’s Ganesha Campus.

Adding to the excitement, Indonesia’s Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, Prof. Brian Yuliarto, also participated in the tournament as part of Team Old School Ganesha, even facing off against Team Gen 4 in one of the matches.

The name “Team Gen 4” is inspired by ITB Rector’s 2025–2030 vision of transforming ITB into a Fourth-Generation University—a future-ready institution that is excellent and impactful.

The event was also attended by IA ITB Chairman Agustin Peranginangin, ALSI Chairman Abdul Malik Sadat Idris, Event Chair Beny Yusron, and the Dean of ITB’s Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Dr. Eng. Nita Yuanita, S.T., M.T.
