Ruang Kreasi Bersama Alumni (RuKA) is proud to receive a donated artwork from the renowned painter Taat Joeda. Having studied at the Faculty of Art and Design back in 1969, Taat Joeda has long been recognized for his consistent exploration of humanistic and environmental themes through his art.

The donated painting, titled “Semak Itu Indah”, is a 200 cm diameter acrylic on canvas piece completed in 2024. It carries a powerful message about life, diversity, and the importance of appreciating what is often overlooked.

“Never look down on others. Live with mutual respect. While bushes are often seen as messy, wild, and unattractive, in reality they hold countless benefits for our world—and even beauty, if we care to look,” said Taat Joeda, explaining the meaning behind the painting.

RuKA feels honored to house this meaningful work. “Semak Itu Indah” not only brightens the space, but also brings with it a spirit of reflection, openness, and appreciation for the hidden values in simple things.

We hope this artwork becomes a lasting source of inspiration for everyone who gathers in this space and strengthens the creative connections across generations.
