ITB Receives 5 Years of Impact Award from Pertamina

Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) has been honored with the 5 Years of Impact Award by Pertamina during the launch of the Pertamina Goes To Campus (PGTC) 2025 program, held at Grha Pertamina, Jakarta. The award recognizes 11 universities that have consistently produced TOP 3 finalists in the Pertamuda Seed and Scale competition from 2021 to 2024.

 

Representing ITB, the award was received by Prof. Dr.rer.nat. apt. Sophi Damayanti, S.Si., M.Si., Director of Alumni and Career Development. Also attending on behalf of ITB were Dr. Intan Taufiq, Dr. Fathiroh, and Rafli (Electrical Engineering student, class of 2023).

 

Pertamuda is a student business idea competition organized by Pertamina to foster innovation and entrepreneurship aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and sustainable energy development. Since 2021, it has engaged over 10,000 participants from 696 universities across Indonesia, with 140 finalists receiving a total of IDR 1.6 billion in funding support.

 

Oki Muraza, Deputy CEO of Pertamina, encouraged universities and students to keep playing an active role in shaping the future of Indonesia’s energy sector. Meanwhile, Arya Dwi Paramita, Corporate Secretary of Pertamina, highlighted Pertamuda as one of the largest and most consistent student entrepreneurship competitions in the country.

 

Fadjar Djoko Santoso, VP of Corporate Communication at Pertamina, emphasized that PGTC continues to be a platform for empowering youth through real innovation and impactful ideas.

 

Alongside ITB, the award was also given to ITS, IPB, UGM, UI, Universitas Airlangga, Universitas Brawijaya, Universitas Sumatera Utara, UPN Veteran Yogyakarta, Universitas Sebelas Maret, and Politeknik Elektronika Negeri Surabaya.
