On Wednesday, July 2, 2025, the Rector of Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Prof. Dr. Ir. Tatacipta Dirgantara, M.T., officially appointed a new lineup of officials within ITB’s Supportive Work Units (Unit Kerja Pendukung/UKP) for the 2025–2027 term. The inauguration ceremony took place at the East Hall of ITB’s Ganesha Campus in Bandung, attended by members of the academic community and invited guests.

Among the newly appointed officials were two key figures from the Directorate of Alumni Relations and Career Development:

1. Dr. Alfita Puspa Handayani, S.T., M.T., as Head of the Sub-directorate of Alumni Engagement and Activities.
2. Ardiyan Harimawan, S.T., M.Eng., Ph.D., as Head of the Sub-directorate of Career Development and Partnerships.

In his remarks, Prof. Tatacipta — fondly known as Prof. Tata — expressed his hopes that the new appointees would play an active role in supporting ITB’s transformation into a fourth-generation university. He emphasized the importance of strengthening professional, adaptive, and service-oriented institutional governance.

Leaders within UKP are expected to become enablers of institutional transformation — demonstrating strong leadership, data-driven decision-making, agile and precise execution, and the ability to solve problems amidst the dynamic campus environment. Prof. Tata also underlined that collaboration and integration between work units will be key to the institution’s continued success.

This appointment marks an important step in sustaining robust governance and advancing ITB’s vision as a world-class higher education institution.
