ECOWEEK ITB 2020 Craft Exhibition

ECOWEEK ITB 2020 Craft Exhibition is a virtual platform to exhibit academic work from students and lecturers of the Craft Study Program, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design ITB. The courses on display include Final Project, Natural Fiber Textile Craft III, Craft Entrepreneurship, Craft Management, Ceramic Craft II, Decorative Ceramics I, Textile Craft I Fashion Research, and Textile Structure Design I.

ECOWEEK ITB is an event that emphasizes sustainability and environmental issues. The fashion and textile industries are known to be major sources of water and air pollution. However, there are efforts to provide greener alternatives to conventional processes and products. For this reason, the Craft Study Program, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Bandung Institute of Technology initiated ECOWEEK ITB. Previously, ECOWEEK ITB was held as an offline event on our main campus. This year, because of the pandemic and for safety precautions, we will turn to online platforms.

This time, ECOWEEK ITB emphasized the changes that have occurred recently in the creative industry due to the pandemic and how the creative community can develop even through the global crisis. This topic is considered relevant to the SDGs promoted by the United Nations and can provide new insights for the creative industry and students.
